After Pompeii drive up the Mt. Vesuvius and take a break in a restaurant located in a stunning spot on its slopes (with pizza lunch included). Afterwards, your tour leader will bring you to visit Mount Vesuvius - one of the most dangerous currently active volcanoes on earth...

Once you have reached the bus parking 1000 meters above sea level, you will walk to the actual summit of the volcano to check out its crater. At the peak, you can benefit from an explanation given by an experienced guide from the Vesuvius National Park or simply explore around the crater's edge by yourself. Mt. Vesuvius is both awe-inspiring and mesmerizing at once and additionally offers unbelievable views of Naples' Bay from its apex!!!
