Route through Salento - Vereda el Agrado - Santa Rita Waterfall

Duration

clock5 to 6 hours

Overview

The Santa Rita Waterfall, which forms on a tributary of the Quindío River, which runs through the Cocora Valley. The waterfall is in a side valley of Boquía (Salento sidewalk) and is gradually gaining height through tropical rainforest, lush and impenetrable through tunnels of the old railway.

The waterfall will be about fifteen meters high, and its good flow makes it very aesthetic. At its feet a pool allows (for those who do not fear cold water) a bath. The picture that forms the waterfall, surrounded by the jungle, is certainly worth the walk, which on the other hand alone is already interesting.
