Sagalassos Tour

Overview

Having left our hotel, we will take a 2-hour journey through the Taurus Mountains to Alasun. There, we'll visit Sagalassos of the Pisidians, situated at an altitude of 9000 feet and boasting some remarkable Roman grandeur; its excavations have uncovered colossal sculptures (not visible) and remarkably preserved structures such as an agora, fountains, theater, baths, heroon and temples. Lunch shall be in Alasun village. Afterwards we will drive down to Antalya via the Karacaoren reservoir before returning to our hotel.
