Since 2005, Marc Barbey has been privately dedicated to collecting photographs. The Collection Regard covers works from the beginnings of photography to the 90s of the 20th century. Special emphasis of the collection are the topics of Berlin and German photography. Special attention is paid to the artist personality Hein Gorny (1904-1967) and his photographic works, whose publication is a real affair of the heart of the collection. The premises are located in Berlin-Mitte and, in contrast to the classic white cube, spread a rather homely atmosphere. Also known as the "Salon", Marc Barbey's showroom aims to provide a personal-private access to the photographs and provide the opportunity to interact with the collector and other interested parties.
