Get to know a family managed salt pans property, located in the natural park of Ria Formosa, near Faro and Olhão, where you can see and understand the traditional process of how to produce and collect the natural sea salt and the famous salt flower, recognized by many elite Chefs for its high mineral properties.
Our guide will take you on a pedestrian walk through the salt pans and to a big salt pyramid, which you can climb, enjoy the wonderful views and observe the magnificent birdlife that lives here.
You can also sample some the delicacies with different varieties of salt or even bathe in a salt lake and enjoy a different and very healthy experience.
