Sardinian's most unique winery experience

Duration

clock3 hours

Overview

The vineyards, the scent of the Sardinian land, the sun, and men and women who live for wine-making – some of the hidden ingredients we discover in a glass of wine which we can now sip with a new awareness. Sardinian winemakers have always worked with hardship and passion, aware of being part of a history of wine-making, which started on the island some 3500 years ago. A few kilometres from Cagliari, we take part in a journey that starts among the rows of vineyards, to learn about the different types of grapes, and ends in the cellars, the places that preserve the memory of the wine culture. Wine tasting, always accompanied by simple delicacies of the culinary tradition of Sardinia, becomes a moment to share the feelings and emotions we have just experienced among the vineyards. And we notice how the wine in this cellar has a markedly distinct flavour, partly because we are in the territory and the people who make it and they share it with us.
