The focus of this tour is on Sardis, the capital of ancient Lydlia, where one of the churches of St. John existed. Tour the ruins of the temples of Cybele and Diana where a fourth century Basilica was later added. See the golden river Pactalos and the Royal Road. Visit the reconstructed synagogue and gymnasium. After lunch you w-ll return to Izmir
