Scale model museum «Petrovskaya Akvatoria» Saint Petersburg

Duration

clock3 days 18 hours

Overview

The museum is a reconstruction of the most significant sights of St. Petersburg and its suburbs associated with the history of urban planning and the creation of the Russian fleet in the period from 1703 to the 1860s, and reflects the everyday life of Petersburgers of the past era. A real water space, imitating the water area of the Neva and the Gulf of Finland, where ships of the Peter's era sail, is a feature of the interactive museum.
The area unites parts of the model: the Admiralty, the Peter and Paul Fortress, Vasilievsky Island, New Holland and the famous suburbs of the Northern capital - Peterhof, Kronstadt and Oranienbaum with the now lost Petershtadt fortress.
