We will walk, take photos, and take in the beauty of the Pioneer Square neighborhood, while guests will hear fascinating stories of the rough, early days of Seattle: murder, mayhem, betrayal, corruption, administrative incompetence, prostitution, gambling and suicide, at each location.
We also talk about the beautiful architecture left behind. We will teach guests the about rich history of the beautiful Pioneer Square, but we also want to show guests off-the-beaten-path places in the neighborhood.
It will be a leisurely walk through the streets of the neighborhood for an hour, with about 15 stops (one to two blocks apart, between the stops), and we’ll have short (approximately 5-minute long), interactive and fascinating stories at each stop. I will encourage questions and comments from my participants, to make the tour interactive. This tour will be approximately two thirds of a mile walk (with may stops and stories in between).
