Cyprus is an excellent place to explore, having beautiful and varied nature, rich history and cultural heritage, temperate climate and high security.
We have been offering multi-day self-guided exploration trips in Cyprus since 2011. Furthermore, Phivos, the designer of the route has deep knowledge of Cyprus, including writing relevant books (the latest is called ‘Exploring Authentic Cyprus’).
The specific route gives takes the traveller through many of the main natural (and cultural) attractions in rural Cyprus, from high elevation Artemis trail, to beautiful Akamas peninsula. Despite the presence of stretches on paved or cement roads in the route, we nevertheless consider it as providing a great experience to those interested in exploring authentic Cyprus on foot.
