This Self-Guided Bike Tour of Trail of Blue Ice from Portage Glacier Lodge is truly idea for the independent traveler. Your tour begins at 9:00 a.m. with a drop at the lodge at 10:30 a.m. giving you a fabulous time biking the Trail of Blue Ice. Your shuttle will be ready to transport you back to Anchorage at 5:00 p.m.
NOTE: This is a self-guided tour which means you will be responsible for renting your bike at the Anchorage Downtown Bicycle Shop located one block from our departure point at the Visitor’s Center. Please ensure you are first in line at 8 a.m. to get the bike that fits you best. All bikes must be loaded and strapped on so please be ready ½ hour prior to shuttle departure. We recommend that you do your homework to discover all hikes and bike trails along with activities available in the time frame allotted.
