Overview

This beer tour is great for locals and tourists alike. It takes you to visit four very different, interesting venues to enjoy your delicious Bristol brewed beers in. There's a good fifteen minute stroll in between them which passes many of Bristol's historic sights and street art, yet takes you off the beaten track. This tour is available in the afternoons only and is best taken during daylight.

An email from me (Heather) the day before your tour will guide you to two Banksy's very close to the starting pub as well as some background on Bristol Cathedral. -This means if you are ready a little before your start time then there is plenty to see.

At the starting pub, you'll be given your welcome envelope from one of the lovely bar staff-. This will contain tokens to exchange for your beers and a map telling you where you'll be spending them! There's also your ferry fare and a card with some interesting facts about the sights and street art that you'll see on your tour.

After enjoying your beer here, you'll venture into 3 other brilliant, independent locations in the area. There's another traditional pub with outdoor space, a brewery tap room where all of the delicious beers are brewed on the premises, and a great bar filled with curiosities. There's a locally brewed beer or three in each venue included in the price- (just hand over your token),- but feel free to stay for more if you like. The great thing about this tour is that you can do it at your own pace. You'll also be given a bowl of nuts in the second pub.

Taking your time as you walk between venues is especially important on this tour because you pass right by historic gems, such as the SS Great Britain and The Matthew, as well as loads of brilliant street art pieces painted for Upfest, Europe's largest street art festival (don't forget to look behind you!) Your map will also take you to a hidden Banksy and you will have an email from me (Heather) the day before which

Typically, people spend 3-5 hours taking this tour.

If there's anyone in your group not drinking beer, there's some excellent ciders available instead to enjoy.

Well behaved dogs, kept under control are welcome on this tour too.
