If your ship docks in Genoa or if you are in town for some day, don’t miss the opportunity to visit two jems of the Ligurian coast: Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure.
A local guide will lead you to discovery of these magnificent lands; starting from Genoa, you will take the train to Santa Margherita Ligure. Here, you will explore the characteristic village and taste the famous “Focaccia”, a special local bread. It will be time to take the ferry to Portofino and you enjoy the wonderful view of the Ligurian coast. At your arrival in Portofino, you will walk through the alleys admiring the characteristic coloured houses and, then, you spend some time in the famous Portofino’s “Piazzetta” with its beautiful view of the port and sea. It’s time to take again the ferry to return to Santa Margherita, still enjoying the marvellous panorama offered by Liguria. At last, you will come back to Genoa by train and you will keep beautiful memories of this experience.
