    As we make our way down towards the Ribeira, we will pass through the most traditional streets and discuss the changes in social organization that time has brought. We will also talk about the medieval defense systems of the city and the importance of the local productive activities.

    We'll clarify the symbol of the rooster "Galo de Barcelos", which can be easily found for sale in every corner of Portugal.

    And we'll end the tour near the statue of Infante D. Henrique, located at the Ribeira. This statue is a symbol of the end of the medieval era and the beginning of the Renaissance era in Portugal.
