    One of the most highly rated tour guide in Portugal will take you on a memorable journey along scenic backroads, through orange groves, avocado plantations, almond trees, olive trees, cork oaks, carob trees and much more, including Alte, the most typical village in the Algarve (springs, stunning views) and Silves, the ancient medieval capital of the Algarve, where you can also experience excellent local restaurant.

    This tour is private, however at the Vineyard you will likely join others (safely) for the local experience, a wine processing tour including 3 different wine tastings and tapas.

What to Expect

    Delve into the best of the Algarve, while not having to worry about driving and parking between popular spots. We will provide you with as much local knowledge, history, culture and tips as possible. Then, in each place, you will also have time on your own to explore. For semi-private tours WE DO NOT PICK UP from different points.. Therefore, this tour starts at a single meeting point, at the public parking lot in front of the Vila Galé Cerro Alagoa hotel (across the street) at 9:00am and ends at the same point at about 4:30pm. The times for each stop must be met. When in Silves, we will park by the river then we`ll lead you walking to the castle. When in Monchique, we will park outside the town, then we`ll lead you walking to the center of the town, giving you tips.The guide will then set up a meeting point for pick up, and from there the customers will have more than 2 hours to enjoy Monchique on their own.
