The tour starts from the castle of Sirmione, the beautiful gem on the green-blue water of Lake Garda. From there, on powerful and comfortable e-bikes, we’ll head to Desenzano. Its small harbor with the colorful houses and the viewpoint from the castle are worth a stop and a picture!
We leave the shore now, and make our way into the Lugana area. Looking for the smaller countryside roads, we’ll bike thought vineyards, among old cascina (rural villas), bush, gardens and olive trees, until the winery. It’s time for a break under the trees, a visit of the farm, a good tasting lead by who grows the plants and make the wine.
The Lugana, white and fresh, is perfect for the aperitivo time!
Let’s enjoy the wine until the last sip and the quiet ride until the last moment, before getting back to the great and crowded castle of Sirmione, right in time for lunch.
