Overview

We highly recommend this tour. It departures from Virpazar, continues through a small beautiful channel that leads you to the open lake. On the way to the Monastery, you will find a fascinating view of the railway line which divides the lake.
The Monastery of Kom with a church dedicated to the Virgin Mary’s succession is located at island Odrinska Gora, near Zabljak Crnojevica, where the Crnojevica river flows into the western part of Skadar Lake. The monastery was built between 1415 and 1427, as the legacy of Djuradj and Ljes Crnojevic. In this Monestry Montenegro’s greatest ruler, bishop and poet, Petar II Petrovic Njegos became a priest. The oldest frescoes in the Kom Monastery date from the second half 15th century.
After the finished activity, we will take you to the restaurant Silistria where you will have lunch made by local chefs, experienced in making tourists relax and enjoy good food!
