What to Expect

Learn about everyday life in Krakow during the Nazi occupation from 1939 to 1945. The exhibition is a story about both the Poles and Jews, as well as the Nazi occupiers. Enter Schindler’s office, which has been preserved within the factory's administrative building. See the “Survivor’s Ark” made of thousands of enamel pots, similar to those produced in the factory. Witness documentary photographs, eyewitness accounts, film documentaries, and multimedia presentations. Wander through a theatrical recreation of Krakow’s historical city space. Board a tram and watch a documentary portraying the everyday life of the city. Visit a typical Jewish apartment. See artifacts from the Plazow camp. Walk through the “Hall of Choices”.
