ANTRO DEL CORCHIA
Antro del Corchia, with its 70km of extension, is among the biggest cave all over the Europe. Nowadays everyone can visit this spectacular natural wonder by a modern tourist path. The heart of the mountain is the place where the water, flowing through the millions of years has graven the marble, of which the entire mountain is made, in the most spectacoular ways you can even immagine. Antro del Corchia is very famous among speleologist because of its spectacoular rock formations, stalactites and stalagmites all made by pure marble.
The entrance of the tourist path is located near Levigliani, a beautiful ancient village in the heart of Apuan Alps, in the north of Tuscany, 30 minutes from Forte dei Marmi.The tiket includes the guided visit to the cave and a 4 minutes bus ride from the tiket office to the entrance of the cave and the return to tiket office at the end of the visit.
