    During this tour you will be taken to witness two UNESCO World Heritage sites, Sigiriya or Sinhagira (Lion Rock) is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern part of the Matale district near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province build by King Kasshyapa for his hideaway palace. The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters high. Dambulla Buddhist cave temple and the Sigiriya rock fortress which named as 8th wonder of the world, Dambulla rock cave temple built by King Walagambahu in the 1st century B. C. The most impressive things to see here is the brilliant paintings span over 2000 sq. mts walls and ceilings and also you will witness around 150 different Buddha statues within this massive magnificent caves.
