The snowy park of Toluca is composed of 2 large volcanic structures, the Xinantécatl (Snowy of Toluca) and the San Antonio, the name of the volcano is of Nahuatl origin and means naked man, it is the main element in the sacred landscape for the Matlanzincas peoples and Nahuas.
The Xinatecatl has the highest peak that is 4960 meters above sea level, is part of the Mexican Volcanic system and the Pacific Ring of Fire, and in the winter season it has snowfall.
