    Spring in Yellowstone is the best time of the season to view the parks abundant population of grizzly bears and wolves intermingling and asserting each species dominance over a landscape that's coming back to life after a long harsh winter. Our tour will focus on Yellowstone’s northern range, undoubtedly one of the prime wildlife viewing spots in North America as it harbors impressive bison/ elk herds, wolf packs, and meandering bears. In late March through through late April Yellowstone comes to life as hungry bears wake up from hibernation, elk and bison each give birth to vulnerable off spring, and wolves compete with grizzly's for

    In addition to many grown bison, elk, and moose it is likely we will see grizzly bears feeding on carcasses, new born elk/ bison calves, and active wolf packs

    Wolves were completely eradicated from the USA but in 1995 biologists restored wolves back to Yellowstone. This well suited habitat is also the best place in the world to view wolves

What to Expect

    Winter is the best time of year to view Yellowstone wolves. Our tour will focus on Yellowstone’s Lamar Valley, undoubtedly one of the best prime wildlife viewing spots in North America as it harbors impressive wolf packs, large herd os bison, elk, and moose. In Dec through March Yellowstone wolves become highly viewable and often be seen challenging elk and Bison in Yellowstones famous Lamar Valley. In late Winter Yellowstone starts to comes to life as the temperature gets slightly warmer, the snow starts to melt, grizzly bears start to wake up from a long hibernation. March in Yellowstone is the best time of the season to view the parks population of grizzly bears fighting against wolves for dominance of food resources and attempt to take over the landscape. This tour is led by a wildlife biologist that is a professional guide in Yellowstone National Park. Through out the day they will interpret the landscape and wildlife interactions. It will certainly be an unforgettable day!
