Visitors can explore St. Catherine's Monastery located on the Sinai Peninsula at the mouth of a gorge at the foot of Mount Sinai in St. Catherine's City. This Orthodox monastery is one of the oldest working Christian monasteries in existence and it has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built by order of Emperor Justinian I and encloses the Chapel of the Burning Bush which was constructed by St. Helen, mother to Constantine I, on the spot where Moses saw his burning bush vision; allegedly, a living bush still grows there today. This location holds religious significance for Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

You will be picked up from your hotel at around 7am (precise details will be communicated locally) by an air conditioned van before heading off to St. Catherine City about 230 kilometers away with an estimated travel time of two and half hours.
