An hour’s drive to Sungai Lembing town area. You will visit the old market square; see the Chinese clan houses and surrounding. Pop into a home bakery, still using wood-fired ovens for making buns, coconut biscuits, cakes and “coffee-croutons”. Explore this quaint town, see how the locals still used the high hanging bridges to cross the Lembing River during the rainy season and the Tin-Mine Museum which houses the equipment used, tin samples and display of the network of tunnels spreading over 785 kilometers underground.
