Day 1. Yogyakarta – Merbabu Basecamp – Hiking Merbabu
Today you will go to Basecamp Gunung Merbabu by road. Upon arrival, you will enjoy light snacks and coffee. Prepare your mountain trekking with equipment in accordance with the direction of the guide. Then start trekking to the top of Merbabu.
Day 2. Sunrise at Merbabu – Trekking down – Back to Yogyakarta
Arriving at the top of Merbabu, after a long journey you will be greeted by a very beautiful sunrise. From the peak of Mount Merbabu, we can also see the beauty of other mountains such as Mount Sumbing, Prau, Andong, Telomoyo, Ungaran, Lawu, and of course Merapi.
After that, the porter will prepare a simple breakfast for you. Enjoy the beauty of nature while eating your breakfast. After you have breakfast, prepare yourself to go back down to the base camp then back to Yogyakarta.
