This historical building on the corner was built in 1877 but started to open as Department store in 1935 and now converted to Museum Surabaya, managed by city council. Walk down on the neat broad pavements, plenty of shades of Tunjungan street lined up refurbished old shops.
    Enjoy your afternoon with tea and coffee at Hotel Majapahit, one of Southeast Asia' heritage hotels. Tour around the hotel which is previously named Oranje Hotel built in 1910 by the Sarkies brothers.It served as a headquarters for the Japanese military during the second world war;and acted as the flashpoint for Indonesia’s battle for independence in 1945.
    Continue walking along Pemuda street passing the Governor's Mansion, built in 1795 with huge frontyard and finish at Balai Pemuda, builit in 1907 as a billiard club during Dutch era whose dome resembles the crown of the Queen of Holland.
