What to Expect

    Capoeira is both a beautiful art form and a powerful type of combat with a unique and fascinating history rooted in the African slave trade. During the week you will learn not only the physical movements to take part in a roda (meaning ‘circle’ or ‘wheel’ in Portuguese) where the game or fight of Capoeira takes place, but also about the culture, history, music and rhythms of this incredible discipline. When you’re not working on your Capoeira game you will receive expert surf instruction from our talented surfing team whether you’re an absolute beginner or you’ve been surfing for years!
