Each year from June to September, Cancun becomes a playground for the biggest fish in the sea, the whale shark. These gentle giants can grow up to 12 meters in length and are called “Dominos” by locals for their beautiful spotted skin. They feast on the microscopic sea life that abounds in the summer months.
