What makes my tour unique is that firstly it's a West Berlin tour. Almost all tours in Berlin are centered around the East city. Tales from West Berlin in the roaring 20's on the other hand is a unique snapshot of a period in time in a hedonistic, liberal city. Religion, sex and creative freedom were tolerated resulting in an intoxicating district centered around Kudamm boulevard. West Berlin was home to a large LGBT community and was a hive of creativity at the turn of the century. My tour centers around the people that lived here in the 1920's including artists, actors and cabaret theater owners. During the tour my guests also get an inside glimpse into the period 1920's home of a former silent screen icon who shone during this period. We also visit a historic train station which is like a 1920's time warp! Finally we stop for a tea or coffee at Cafe 1900 which is a tastefully decorated classic venue.
