The birthplace of the Slovenian folk music legends, brothers Slavko and Vilko Avsenik, Begunje, lies at the foot of the Karavanke mountains, in the far northern part of the Radovljica Plain. The homestade Avsenik is located very close to lake Bled, only 15 minutes driving distance, while at the same time distant enough to ensure your peace and privacy. Here was born composition Golica, the most frequently performed instrumental composition in the world. You are invited to join our music-evenings with live Slovenian folk-music and dance from 7:30 p.m. till 11:30 p.m., where only well-known and good internationally famous Slovenian ensembles perform.
