Its roots date back to 13th century Turkey, with the dervishes doing their signature circular dance accompanied by oriental music played on traditional instruments.

This captivating show is considered one of Egypt's best folkloric performances. Afterward, dinner is served at a restaurant situated within a garden affording magnificent views of the alabaster mosque and Old Cairo.
