    Luis and his wife Kathe are the founders and artisans of HANDMADE BARCELONA®, an ethical brand of handmade traditional shoes from Cataluña, Spain. They have been making shoes for many years in their family-owned factories in Spain.

    They have been hosting a very successful experience teaching travelers how to stitch traditional Catalan espadrilles for a long time. This unique experience has brought them many good reviews in 2019 as a must-do in Barcelona and it is within the 10% Top Experiences Worldwide.

    They are not only experts when it comes to espadrilles, but they're also fun and entertaining with their anecdotes and insider stories.

    This online edition transports you to their workshop in Barcelona and it includes the pair of shoes shipped to your home. It is unique, difficult to get anywhere else, full of insiders knowledge and fun.
