As you walk along Valletta you will understand why this city is described as one huge open-air museum. Valletta is packed with sites of historical significance, so much so that it’s been an officially listed UNESCO World Heritage site since 1980.
You will also visit Fort St. Elmo. Built for war, the Knights at this fort managed to face and hold back the menacing Ottoman attacks. This dominating position now offers unobstructed panoramic views of the harbours and the surrounding towns and villages.
