Welcome to the Irish Dance Experience! I am a Riverdancer and a Galway native. I have spent over ten amazing years travelling the world with Riverdance and have finally returned to my beautiful hometown of Galway. I am also a history graduate from National University of Ireland Galway. I am combining my loves of dance and history to bring you what will be an enjoyable and unique experience!
You will experience and try out a few different styles of Irish dance- Ceili or group dancing, Sean Nós, our oldest style of dance, and the more well-known 'Riverdance' style.
You will hear and dance to traditional Irish music to give you a taste of some of the time signatures and traditional tunes we dance to in Ireland. Most importantly we will have a bit of craic!
You will also learn a little bit about the history of our traditional dance and it's evolution over the years. I love being able to share my passion for our traditional dance in my home town and am proud to offer this experience.
