Sweden’s prolific prime minister Olof Palme is dead! He was shot on a busy street in front of 25 witnesses a cold Saturday night in 1986, in Sweden’s own version of the Kennedy murder. The hunt for the assassin who disappeared into a dark alleyway led to the largest police investigation in world history, but no final answer.
On this walk you follow the last minutes of Olof Palme’s life step by step. You visit the murder scene in downtown Stockholm and follow the escape route of the killer. On top of that you also get to hear about the man Olof Palme and his political legacy, the reactions to his death, how the investigation was done and some of the theories on what happened.
