Overview

This tour is a walking tour for about 2.5 hours in the daytime. We'll enjoy to know the history of Shinjuku with the changes along the times to stop by a national garden to feel the spirit of the modernization. There are several shrines or temples in Shinjuku, which include spiritual power spots or old tragic stories in the floating world. The area is interesting as the secular world and sacred world stand like side by side. The guide will take you to one or two of them as much as I can in the tour time to know the key figure and the local energy at the time. We'll pass by the retro bar streets to touch a part of the modern history near to today and then we'll walk through the neon sign board streets as it very reflects the change in social conditions in the current time stream. We would like to taste a Japanese sweet dumpling at a long established wagashi shop when we come across to it. After the long walk, we'll definitely enjoy tasting fine sake to avoid nothing special.
