At 3,800 meters above sea level, Lake Titikaka is one of the 'largest, highest and deepest lakes in the world'. It's also is the ancestral land of the Quechuas, Aymaras, Uros.
Day 1: Arrive to Copacabana town at noon, just to taste a delicious traditional lunch and then go by boat to “Isla del Sol” .Walk on the Inca`s Stairway and drink water directly from the Fountain of Eternal Youth, then, night stay at a local hostel on top of Sun Island where both parts of the lake will be seen.
Day 2: After breakfast take a walk to visit Pilcocaina Temple, where you can take magnificent photographs, then head back to Copacabana by boat, there, visit The Temple of Copacabana before having lunch, then, choose between a bus to Puno or to return to La Paz.
