Overview

A small town just outside Rome. A unique place for its artistic and historical riches. An ancient Roman city located along one of the many consular roads that connected the eternal city with the whole empire. The ancient travertine quarries still used today are still visible. Tivoli is the place where marble was extracted for the most important buildings such as the Colosseum. The place became of historical importance when the Emperor Hadrian decided to build his sumptuous villa whose ruins are included in our guided tour. A romantic and incredibly beautiful place that takes visitors to travel back in time. The second but no less important place not to be missed is Villa D'Este. The rich villa of the Cardinal descended from the famous Pope Borgia. The most famous Renaissance villa in Europe with its incredible decoration of fountains and tree-lined avenues.
