TOEI Kyoto Studio Park is the only theme park in Japan where you can observe the filming of period dramas if there is a chance.
This open-air set is the reproduction of streets and buildings from the Samurai period (about 400-150years ago).
You can time travel to the Samurai period with an old good atmosphere.
In this guided tour we share the Japanese culture and history in the Samurai period with you.
You could know about the way of common people’s lives in the olden days, Samurai, Ninja, Oiran (a female entertainer but not a Geisha), etc.
If you have time after our guided tour, you can join the fantastic shows by yourself for free. We show you the time & place of the show.
