Tokyo Rush Hour Commuter Train Ride with A Train Enthusiast

Duration

clock1 hour

Overview

This tour allows you to experience Tokyo's crowded trains during rush hour in the evenings.

Let's go to Shinjuku, the busiest station in the world. From one of its less crowded platforms you can watch nearest crowded platforms and learn how to ride Japan's 'rush-hour trains' and passenger rules required on the train.

Though Tokyo's railway system is famous for its accurate time schedule, during rush-hour trains are often delayed.

We will see the worst 4 train lines which are delayed almost everyday causing terrible congestion at the station.

Depending on congestion degree and operational conditions we will ride one of these 4 lines until the next station for about 24 minutes.

We will get off the next station and return to Shinjuku station.

    Why are there female-only vehicles

We will teach you how to ride trains during rush hours and rules everyone should follow on the trains.

Also we will show you 'ladies-only vehicles' which have caused controversial arguments among visitors.
