    It holds approximately 4,000 items such as combs and hairpins, redboard, hakosekoko, yatate, and wigs.
    The history of hair ornaments started in the Jomon period and developed greatly in the Edo period.
    Various methods at that time were used to express all phenomena such as Kacho Fugetsu, literature, and performing arts as a design.
    You can learn the craftsman's technique, traditional Japanese crafts that have colored women since ancient times, and the history of hair ornaments.
    The museum is a 10-minute walk from Sawai Station in Okutama.
