What To Expect

Transfer from Naples to Sorrento with a 2hr stop at the archaeological site of Herculaneum is available. This world-renowned site is located around 10km east of Vesuvius and close to the sea. It was severely damaged by an earthquake in 62 AD, and buried completely following the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. Visitors can see private houses and villas that still contain charred furniture, organic remains, and architectural features. Please note that the ticket price does not include entry to Herculaneum - this will be an additional cost of €13 per person.
