Don't miss the opportunity to visit the mountains and their inhabitants of the Mae Tang Area and the picturesque Araksa Tea plantations.
The day will begin by traveling along the north of Chiang Mai among the picturesque rice fields that surround the route, continue with a stop at the Mae Malai market and then get to the Tea plantations where you can take photographs and participate in a demonstration by the local farmers.
After it will be the turn to go for a visit to the [authentic] Akha village [hill tribe village]. Ancestral population from the mountains of China and northern Laos and Burma, famous for their colorful traditional clothes.
After lunch in a local restaurant,
we will leave to arrive in the area where after 1h of [light] trekking,
the day will end with a visit to the waterfalls, where you can cool off with a dip in the cool waters.
