Your guide fell in love with Wadi Rum sands, turned goat barbecue to #kozza_milk_bar and able to talk non-stop about goats and other fauna (and humans from biblical times to nowadays), flora and rocks of the surroundings.
The length can vary from 3 to 8 km depend on hikers preferences and physical conditions. Can be shortened and adapted for kids and doesn’t require any special skills. And the opposite way for adrenaline seekers ^_-
