What to Expect

    A UNESCO World Heritage Site and capital of the famous ‘trulli' houses, Alberobello is one fascinating place to explore. You'll see a different side to this Puglian town by visiting the district of Aia Piccola, meeting a couple who live in a ‘trullo' and tasting local food. The best part about this tour is that you'll visit Alberobello in the afternoon, after all the crowds have left for the day. And instead of simply seeing its highlights, you'll discover the real Alberobello by wandering around the tiny streets of the Aia Piccola neighbourhood, home to the white ‘trulli' houses, which are characterised by their conical shape. You'll meet an elderly couple who still live in one before dropping in at a traditional enoteca, Tholos.
