I normally advise against visiting Vladimir and Suzdal on a day trip because it involves a lot of driving thus making the experience quite tiring. And yet, if you're short of time but full of energy and determination to see those popular Golden Ring destinations, it's absolutely feasible if we set off at the crack of dawn.
Moreover, it's even possible to squeeze in some other remarkable sights, first of all the town of Sergiev Posad with its magnificent monastery of St.Sergius as well as ancient Yuriev and Alexandrov which used to be the residence of notorious Ivan the Terrible.
Since I'm not a licensed travel guide, I will rather be your driver and travel companion during sightseeing providing all the necessary assistance and basic information whenever you need it.
My car is a Subaru Outback in great condition, perfectly comfortable for 3 passengers but can accommodate 4 (with less comfort, obviously).
