This is the only way to see our private waterfall and the only offering of a guided experience through McBryde Garden.
Our accredited guide will meet you at the SSVC and drive you into McBryde Garden on a private mini-bus. Enjoy the breathtaking views from clifftop as you descend into the valley and heart of the Garden.
Once in the valley you will stop and get off the bus and the tour continues on foot. The guide will interpret the natural and cultural significance of the beauty surrounding you while you venture into the tropical forest to our private waterfall. Then proceed down a paved trail that highlights the plants the original Polynesian voyagers brought with them from thousands of miles away when they settled in Hawaii.
Stand in our Hale (Hawaiian natural building) and look upon our 8' ceramic star compass. Learn how the voyagers sailed across the sea using only the stars as their guide; hear the sounds of the stream pass by as you breath in the tranquility of the valley.
