This adventure is 3-3.5 hr long.
Encounter spinner dolphins from onboard and observe sea turtles at Kealakekua Bay during this half-day boat excursion from Kailua-Kona. A professional captain and crew greet you aboard a Zodiac-style vessel at Honokohau Harbor and take you to explore sea caves and lava tubes en route to the marine conservation area. Use provided gear to snorkel with abundant
tropical fish on the coral reef and see the
Captain Cook monument.
Lunch and live commentary are included.
IMPORTANT: On this tour, we used to snorkel with the wild dolphins. As of 2021 The Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) is now being enforced and swimming with wild dolphins is now considered harassment. We will still be able to go encounter the dolphins at a safe distance but will not be able to enter the water with them.
