Overview

From a medieval monastery to a nineteenth-century wine estate. From an efficient winery to an enotourist complex. Travaglino is one of the oldest wineries in the Oltrepò Pavese, immersed in a rural and wooded landscape of uncontaminated beauty.

The estate dates back to 1111 and since 1868 it is owned by the same family. The vines and the main wines are Pinot Nero and Riesling Renano. The calcareous clay soils, between 250 and 350 m s.l.m., with south-west exposure, maintain acidity and aromas. Respect of the grape before and of the wine is subsequently the production philosophy of Travaglino, each step is important to maintain and increase the quality. The historic structure is a magical place to visit, the original brick cellars of the time and the tasting room can accommodate groups of up to 100 people to give them a true and authentic experience. Knowing and touching our reality is an experience to be experienced and tasted.
