The quickest way to get to know Budapest is to go for a walk through the heart of the city, so come along with me as I show you around and get you acquainted with this beautiful place I call home.
We’ll kick start our discovery of Budapest at the Deák Ferenc tér square, the city center of Budapest and get introduced to basic principles of the city. Then we’ll mosey on to the famous Vörösmarty Square, one of Budapest’s most popular squares.
We’ll leisurely roam through famous squares and cool side streets, from Vigadó Square to Kalvin Square. Along the way, we’ll be strolling past the Inner City Parish Church to see how the various eras left their marks in the architecture.
We’ll then drop by Váci street, the historic shopping street of the city that leads us to the Central Market Hall. To complete the tour, we walk via the National Museum, to Kalvin Square.
